Unified cataloguing system of the Czech Republic

The Unified Cataloguing System (UCS) in the Czech Republic is fully compatible and interoperable with the NATO Codification System (NCS). The SW tool WEB-KAT was introduced to support its informatization.

Subjects of the Unified Cataloguing System of the Czech Republic

Producer (manufacturer)

i.e. a natural (legal) person whose product is the subject of cataloguing based on the application of the cataloguing clause and the submission of an application for cataloguing by the UCS user. Supplier

i.e. a natural (legal) person who is in a contractual relationship with the UCS user for the delivery of the given product. If the product is purchased directly from the manufacturer, the latter is also a supplier.
