Foreign Activities
The CD representatives regularly participate in meetings of working groups of the NATO Allied Committee AC/135, which manages the NATO Codification System (NCS). Specifically, the CD participates in the meeting of:
- the MAIN GROUP – a group of directors of the National Codification Offices dealing with the areas of NCS development, financing and management;
- PANEL A – a group to support the Main Group dealing with technical aspects of international data exchange and cataloguing in NATO.
Outside the NATO AC/135 meeting, the CD is a member of the MC Catalogue User Group (MCC UG). This is a group of countries using the MC Catalogue codification software of the Czech company AURA, s.r.o. The goal of the group is to harmonize the requirements for changes and modifications of the MC Catalogue and to harmonize individual national versions within the NATO Codification System.
At the level of bilateral relations, the CD occupies a priority place in cooperation, especially with the Slovak National Codification Office.
